LP INSTRUMENTS CHOSEN TO HELP LAUNCH
LIZ CLAIBORNE'S LATIN-INFLUENCE FRAGRANCE

Macy's NYC

Macy’s Department Store windows, located in New York City’s Herald Square, were transformed in September by a dazzling display featuring LP brand congas. The presentation was designed to help Liz Claiborne launch Mambo, their first Latin-influenced fragrance for men and women. Liz Claiborne is aware that Latin culture is a powerful trend, and that Latin music is an important part of the culture. To help create an authentic Latin feeling, they naturally chose LP® brand instruments for their displays. A perfect match to help launch their new fragrance.

Custom Matador CongasEighty custom-painted LP Matador Fiberglass Congas, forty on Matador Basket Stands, and twenty pairs of LP Maracas filled six windows and two thirds of Macy’s first floor, alongside bottles of the new fragrance. The display captured the excitement and sensuality that are the essence of Latin culture. Continuing the momentum of the promotion throughout the fall and early winter, the LP instruments will go on tour with the display to Macy’s stores around the country.
